Unfortunately for these individuals, the answer to why nutrition is important often turns out to be very limited. What they learn about nutrition after they are diagnosed is that it’s important to consume a variety of different nutrients in order to make sure that the body is functioning properly and to ward off disease at an advanced stage.

Without nutrition, the body cannot repair itself, and it will eventually succumb to disease and dysfunction.
